I met Sam about a year ago when I photographed her and her dog, Buck for an employee/pet shoot at Stone Hill Veterinary Clinic in Big Rapids. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with Sam a couple of times. The first thing I noticed about Sam was her easing going, fun personality. I also thought her dog was quite adorable, so I was excited when she asked me to photograph Buck and her two horses, Gracie and Harley, on their family farm.
