When Carter’s mom contacted me to photograph Carter’s senior photos, I was excited to start planning the shoot. I photographed his sister Megan’s senior photos a few years earlier (see Megan’s session), and I had worked with Carter and his family a number of times. I had photographed Carter when he was much younger, and I knew that he did not like having his picture taken. I knew his session might be a challenge, but I was up for it…and honestly it was a great time. Carter wouldn’t want anybody to know it, but he might have even enjoyed himself…just a little bit. He had some great ideas for his shoot and incorporated some of his very favorite things like his love of farming on the family farm, his truck, bow and football jersey. All of the props were great, and I’m especially glad that Carter decided to include his football jersey, because Carter and his fellow Coyote teammates had an outstanding year of football. As a senior, it was an accomplishment to be very proud of! Congratulations on a memorable senior year, Carter, and I wish you the best of luck on your next season of life!
